View of Agadir is nice, but nothing spectacular, more for having an overview and probably very nice for sunset visit. Some camels there - make sure you are not taking pictures of them, as the owners will charge you for it (got this tip from the taxidriver taking us there), so if you are not in to camel riding, just... This is an earthquake damaged castle that overlooks Agadir and its harbours. Worthwhile visiting but not worth spending a lot of time on. There are stalls there selling the usual tourist tat and there are camels there which you can ride and/or have your picture taken with.

You could walk. POathways from the other side of the road opposite the marine. Taxi cost 75 Dh and he waited. Get to the top. Fight past the camel men, the hawkers and do battle with the "guides" once you are in. Spectacular views of the town and coastline. I had a guidebook so no need to engage with the... More

First time visit to Agadir so hired a taxi for a quick trip to main sights. The View from the Kasbah ( Fort) was great as one could see the remains of old Agadir ( destroyed in the 60' earthquake) & the extensive new city , the large docks & the marina. Our driver was very knowledgeable so need of... More

We visited the kasbah, and found sole of the people outside a bit unpleasant - even though we consider ourselves experienced travellers we felt a bit harrassed and difficult to warf off the sellers. The kasbah itself could use some maintenance - there was lots of rubbish there, but the view over agadir was stunning.

We went to kasbar as a family and I would recommend going, great views and history but don't get stung by guides! Or men with camels!

The Kasbah lies a few kilometres outside of Agadir and provides a history of what buildings existed before the 1960 earthquake. It is essentially a ruin but the views over Agadir and the coast going south are very good. Be prepared for stalls selling Moroccan paraphenalia, camel rides and locals looking for a few dirham as a guide or whatever.

you can actually walk to the top although a bit tired. Around 30-45 mins depending on how quick you would like to be. The view was amazing on the top but you need to bearing the smell of camel poo.

Well worth a visit. Find a good taxi ( shouldn't cost more than 150dhm for a return trip) and pay this a visit. At the top you'll find the usual camel rdes/ photo with my snake/ here let me walk you around the ruins for a fee crowd, but if you're firm and tell them no you'll be left alone... More

Go there in the evening and enjoy the view over Agadir. There are a lot of locals sitting in their cars and listening to loud music. they grill there & smoke shisha & drink. you then can watch how the locals behave in the evening. i would recommend this place but only in the evening, otherwise there are giftdealers, and...
