I recently visited this Garden on a Visit to see my Husbands Family in Algeria and I was pleasantly surprised by what I came across - it has many different sections with some amazing arching trees and unusual plants. There is a central long section...More

The gardens are beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon here and I would definitely recommend it. The gardens are disability or limited mobility friendly which is not usually the case in Algeria. The zoo enclosures are very small and the animals looked quite distressed. It was...More

The garden was very big, clean and taken care off. Another historic place you should visit when you are in Alger.

A beautiful historical garden where you can find a museum and a zoo. A lot of plants are endemic. Kids can play around and adults can find a quiet spot to rest. There is a subway or tramway to get there, you need to walk...More

Really nice place to walk and enjoy nature in the center of a busy city. Towering trees are a highlight. There are a few places to stop and get a drink or coffee or snack, too. Cheap entry.

Easy to get to using the metro, just remember to get off at jardin station. The entrance to the gardens right there. Spent an enjoyable 2.5 hours walking around in the cool and refreshing environment. I would highly recommend visit when in algiers.

Jungle or gardens, you decide. Situated right next to Sofitel Hotel at least you can go and refresh afterwards! Disappointing and as Algeria lacks tourism these days it seems little effort is expanded by the governor. It makes relief from the piles of garbage and...More
