Amazing interaction with Ranger - awesome butterfly gardens and information. Mounds were super interesting though very different than I had anticipated - I wont share all the details and ruin the surprise you are in for.

Took the four JrRat boys to Mounds Thanksgiving morning. Wandered around and took some pics. I enjoy the mounds as I am a fan of the Hopewell-Adena cultures and I am fascinated that they duplicated their mounds at every site. It's kind of, you see...More

Best walking trails throughout the park. Both easy and more difficult for seasoned hikers. Gorgeous park.

Great place to go and walk around enjoying nature. It’s interesting to see the mounds and learn the story behind them. We don’t have children, but saw many families there.

We go to mounds park frequently. Beautiful and peaceful. We have a family reunion and Christmas at the cabin every year. Love that the cabin has plenty of room and a full kitchen. Recently they have put up signs around the park about the amusement...More

This is a small state park located by an airport. The park was well maintained and the sites are typical of most parks. Some are close and in the open but they do offer sites that are farther apart and back up to the trees...More

This park has huge trees, well planned trails. A quiet well maintained park. The signage was well written and well maintained too. We're glad that the Native American mounds are preserved and protected.

I used an annual pass, but if you don't have that it's $7 per vehicle for in-state and $9 for out of state. That's a one time fee if you are camping....example, if you're camping three nights, you just pay the gate fee once... More

Yes you pay admission and it is marked to expire. And the park closes overnight so probably won't be able to leave your car.
