I took my nephews ages 4 & 11 to Phillips Park. First we explored the zoo. Then we rode the tram and they loved it. We went to the park so they could play in the park. We ended the day with a wonderful picnic.

This little zoo is very quaint, but cute. It’s a great thing to do when your family is on a strict budget. There is a splash pad for the kids and a big playground with picnic tables located behind the zoo. Bring a cooler and...More

Understaffed, dirty, poorly kept, empty animal displays...well, you get the idea. Good thing admission is free, otherwise, there'd be a bunch of angry folks demanding refunds.

It’s very small zoo park, but it’s great for children, and doesn’t take a lot of time to see. There is a building with restrooms, bones of a mammoth and outside there is big mammoth statue. There is a sunken garden with a big water...More

Took a group of young students here to enrich our science unit. The zoo is very small but has some nice animals and exhibits. The grounds are very nice and I’m sure sunken garden in full bloom would be spectacular. Giant pavilion for picnics and...More

Free Zoo was very interesting. In this day and age a free zoo, cool! Zoo and park were top notch! I could sit in the sunshine all day.

Montgomery Road turn on Howell Road then make a right and park in the parking lot. It’s the entrance to the zoo and it’s left of the building and mammoth statue. It’s big!
