Had to stop to check out this lookout and was stunned by how picturesque the view is from the lookout. Must stop and check it out.

Loved this venue! Super windy day and lots of bees. Great history lesson that’s self directed. Beautiful scenic overlook! Definitely a must see.

Unless someone in the group has Kamaaina ID it will cost $1.00 to park a car. Need dollars, cash only. Nevertheless the view...the experience is worth nearly double the cost. Don't wear a hat.....too much wind.

It was my second visit to Hawaii and it’s a must for me to feel its fresh strong tradewinds. The view is splendid and panoramic. Just 15 minutes away from Waikiki. Parking rates apply but just wait there, someone will handover their coupon to you...More

This was one place we knew we had to visit. I remembered from a visit over 40 years ago, and really wanted to go back. The cliffs and the view of the valley was breathtaking, and the history is amazing.

It was very windy the day we visited the Pali lookout, which made for an exciting time. I wasn't sure whether the wind or the car would win the battle.

We stopped over at Nuuanu Pali Lookout after our morning at Diamond Head Crater. It has spectacular views and there are excellent plaques to explain the history of the view. The parking is a flat rate of $3. We got there around lunch time and...More

This lookout is very very windy, so leave your hats in the car. It is a great view and a historical sight that I won't spoil for you. We were over by the Nu'uanu Pali Watershed rec area looking for King Kameamea's secret summer home...More

Pali lookout is a great lookout spot worth the stop if you are nearby hiking. You can swing through and take 10-15 minutes to check out the views. There are placards that describe a brief history of the area that is pretty interesting. The wind...More

The history of the lookout is quite sad but proud at the same time. If you're going for an amazing view then you will be in luck here! There are two different hiking trails one the goes off the left to the Pali Puka and...More

Yes you can take Uber or Lyft up to the Pali Lookout. It would be rather expensive depending on where you are starting from. You would also probably have to pay the parking fee. Renting a car for a day would be easier and... More

I think it's just an "honor system" to pay if you decide to stop, park your car and walk up to the overlook. No charge for just driving through.
