We wanted to do a dolphin encounter for my 11-year old - this was one of the places we found that didn't require a paying parent in the water for under-12-year-olds so that was great. They actually went over the advertised in-water time (past the...More

In late July, I had the opportunity to swim with the dolphin Hua at Dolphin Quest at the Kahala Hotel. What a remarkable experience, and something I can mark off my bucket list. The trainer was awesome, the dolphin well-trained. I would recommend this experience...More

Great experience as you learn höhnte take care and train Dolphins and prächtige with them in the water. Our 7-year old enjoyed it also but was a bit freezing with the water and the wind blowing across the lagoon.

We didn’t know exactly what to expect reading some of the mixed reviews but our experience was amazing. The trainer was so good with children.

We absolutely loved our experience with the dolphins! Other than the confusion about the cost (website shows a price for up to 6 people, but the price is actually PER PERSON...this needs to be clearer on the website), we are happy we did this!

It’s a little pricey, but well worth it and it’s for a great cause. Wish it was longer as 45 minutes goes fast when you are in the presence of these beautiful, gentle creatures. Definitely would recommend as it’s a once in a life time...More

The staff was friendly and patient and there was a good mixture of out of the water teaching and in the water time with the dolphin. The digital photos were excellent.

We had such an amazing time and will have these memories forever. It was well worth the money. Plus I pre-bought the towel and pictures - totally worth it.

We signed up for a private dolphin experience with just me and my two kiddos and while my husband balked at the price (over $1000) it was totally worth it. Meg was the trainer assigned to us. She was friendly and informative and she regularly...More

I Googled them afterwards. The owner used to capture dolphins in the 80s before he had to surrender his dealer's license so he opened this place. Disgusting.

Dolphin Quest is in Kahala...only about 15 min. from Waikiki. A taxi or Uber shouldn't be too expensive.
