Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very disappointed. A few rainbow trees and not much more. For some reason the gypsy app guide recommended a stop here , but it wasn’t worth it. There are so many other places to stop on the road to Hana. Definitely skip this one.

A gentle paved incline through many different types of trees/plants/flowers. It is a free attraction and state owned. The highlight is the grove of Rainbow Eucalyptus Trees. You can walk right up to the vegetation and there is a lot of variety. Parking is a little bit of a premium but there are two lots, one right across from the gate, the other just past it. Be careful crossing the road, if you have anyone that is not able to react to a car coming around the corner, you can drop them right at the gate. If you can't find parking, head just a few hundred yards down the road (towards Hana) to Keanae and grab a snack at Auntie Sandy's (Banana Bread, Shave Ice, Food, Drink) or further down the road where there is a park on the ocean and bathrooms if you need them.

This Arboretum is beautifully located In such a gorgeous little nitch. Just so you know, weather you are making the trek up to Hana, or coming back from Hana, this place is a must stop to enjoy it's beauty. It was very unique and informative that all the trees have markers with their names and where they. And from. The flowers were so pretty and I special loved the sound of the trees would make with the wind. This was an easy hike, so we enjoyed every bit of scenery around us.

My wife and I enjoyed the Road to Hanna and the Ke'anae Arboretum was one of the best parts. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if the plants had been labelled better.

Lovely arboretum paved trails and a beautiful group of rainbow eucalyptus - the reason we stopped. Easy on and off the Road to Hana and right before the Keanae Overlook and Aunty Sandy's banana bread make this area a trifecta.

We stopped primarily to see the rainbow eucalyptus trees, but the wide variety of other trees were interesting, too.

Keanae Arboretum is at about the halfway point on the road to Hana. It is a park that runs alongside a stream. There is a very impressive array of different types of tropical trees and vines, including several majestic Rainbow Eucalyptus trees.
This garden is not as nice as nearby Garden of Eden, but it is free, and definitely worth a stop.

When on the road to Hana, this is a great place to stop (if you can find a spot to park) and take a peaceful walk on a paved path with beautiful native plants all around.
There is a garden earlier on the drive that charges $15/person and is not nearly as nice. Don’t fall for it! Go instead to the Ke’anae Arboretum, you (and your wallet) will be glad you did!

There are beautiful trees and flowers here. We loved the rainbow trees, which are very tall and beautiful. There is no charge, and it is a very pleasant, easy walk.

This is a free attraction, and mostly focused on trees rather than flowers. It's a relatively short, easy trail, so good to stop and stretch your legs. The flash flood warnings made me nervous, especially since we were there on a rainy day.

Great question. I went back and looked at a couple different websites but haven’t found specific hours. I would imagine it closes as dusk and opens fairly early.... sorry I don’t have anything more specific.
