These are beautiful falls but could get to see the summit as there was a clear sign for experienced hikers and to have adequate protection against mosquitoes and warnings of wild pigs . The path to the summit was through wet streams etc and we...More

We had decided not to drive the Hana Highway, but as we had some time to kill we drove as far as Twin Falls. Overall it was worth it. The falls are nice, and it was quite nice area to walk round. We were quite...More

I read mixed reviews before going and we decided to try it out. Didn’t have to walk over any water or anything to get to see it. After the initial gate you can go left or straight up the hill. We went up the hill...More

This place has changed significantly! Many of the areas that were previously accessible were roped or fenced off. The had a lot of rain and the water flow was as much as I have ever seen. The waterfalls deeper in the jungle are almost unreachable...More

This was great for our family. Water was a little colder than the ocean, but still manageable. Got in some great swimming with the kids and cliff jumping. I wasn't aware at the time that there is another waterfall and pool further back the path...More

If you do, turn around and go back. This is just one of many beautiful waterfalls you will see on Road to Hana. All the hikes and stops on Road to Hana take all day but the experience was worth every minute.

Even if you don't want to endure the entire Road to Hana trip definitely go a little ways until you come to Twin Falls. You won't be disappointed!

While the first set of Falls is easy to walk to, it is difficult and somewhat dangerous to try to get into the water and you can't really swim near the Falls. Near the back of the trail there is a large gate which warns...More

Twin falls are two nice waterfalls but I feel is a stop you can miss if you do not have enough time. Lots of signs about the danger of the trail to the upper waterfall. I did not feel like this trail was that dangerous,...More

The walk to the waterfall is a beautiful through tropical forested area. The bamboo trees are amazing! Depending on the time of year will drastically change the amount of water flowing over the falls. Our visit was great with a substantial water fall...2 waterfalls, hence why...More

The lower waterfall is a short hike from the parking lot. Less than 5 minutes. It is beautiful and from there you could judge whether you and the boys wanted to attempt hiking farther.
