The beach was beautiful; soft sand made the entry into the water very easy. The coral reef is very close to the rocks. Our concierge recommended that we outline the rocks completely to reach the other side of the beach (also accessible if you walk...More

Stayed at the Royal Lahaina, close to Black Rock, and the beach was GORGEOUS! Saw so many honu, peacefully passing by, everyday. If you visit, please do not chase/swim after the honu (sea turtles). Giving 60 feet distance will help to protect these endangered species;...More

We would snorkel here for hours every day. We saw multiple turtles each time. It was so amazing. We didn't hang on the beach much, just walked down from our hotel and hopped in the water.

Get there early so you can claim a spot in the shade towards the rock! Great off shore snorkeling! We saw a sea turtle about 30ft from shore! Lots of little fish. Not very stroller or large wagon friendly, it's a little walk down the...More

Great beach with clean white sand. We were there twice 8/27/17&8/29/17 with a toddler. The time we stay is 8am-10am because the kid needs a nap, so not lots of people and clear water and easy to see the fish! We parked in the free...More

Hi - I'm guessing the Snorkel Store has life vests, noodles, etc They'd probably throw those in free of charge with a snorkel gear rental. Worth asking
