If you do only one thing on Maui, drive the road to Hana. We stopped at waianapana state park to see the black sand beach, red sand beach, and hiked the pipiwai trail. We stopped for plate lunch along the road and thoroughly enjoined the...More

The road to Hana is a beautiful road with waterfalls, over 600 curvy turns and + 50 single lane bridges through rainforest, farms with Pacific Ocean view. Stay alert driving and suggest don't do one day trip. It's well worth spending 2 of 3 days...More

Get up early and get a good guide book to help you with your adventure. Follow the mile markers and be prepared to stop at waterfalls, old bridges, banana bread stands, trails in the eucalyptus forest and many beautiful different beaches along the way.

If you are sun burnt this is the trip for you. It really is beautiful but was told this is the 2nd rainiest place on earth. The road is long and windy, I would not do this again.

I'm really not sure why this road trip is a must do in Maui. If you like to ride on single one way bridges for 4 hours to see underwhelming waterfalls and below average vistas w/ limited parking, this is trip is for you!! Hana...More

Highway 360 to Hana is a curvy narrow road that goes along the coast and through jungly terrain. There are a few nice vistas. Most of the stops are overhyped. There are many waterfalls that are not exceptional. There can be a lot of traffic,...More

You are high above the water most of the way, on a narrow road that winds quite a bit. And, as I recall, there were plenty of guardrails where needed. Most of the time, you have something on either side, usually trees or... More
