The view is slightly different than the previous lookout, plus it’s just fun to reach the “end of the road” right?! There’s no restroom here. Parking is tight, be prepared to wait a couple minutes for someone to pull out, or just go park a...More

When we got there we could not see anything because there were clouds blocking the view. We were really sad that we could not see the magnificent views that were described everywhere. Fortunately, somebody told us that we should be patient because it changes so...More

This view point is further east of the Kalalau Lookout down the road about 2 more miles and has the access to the Pihea Trails to Mt Waialeale. Off to the right of the main platform is the best location for photos but be careful...More

We love this sit’s. The views were breathtaking, you could walk down to see both sides of the canyon. It was a brief walk. We happened upon it on a perfect morning. We heard from others there that they had visited the day prior and...More

You will have a spectacular view no matter what time of day but it will be different. The clouds will cover view for 5 to 10 minutes then it can be clear as can be, or you may have sprinkles or rain, but that too...More

We carried on up the road a mile or so past the Kalalau Lookout to here. Its a different view but just as amazing looking down 5000 feet to the sea. We were lucky and it was clear weather but just beautiful. There's a trail...More

Go on the extra mile from the Kalalau Lookout and in our opinion there's one that's better. This is mainly because the view down the valley to the sea is seen from the end rather than the side. Nevertheless you must see them both.
