As others have said, sadly the reef is dead and not many fish on the beach side of it, but it’s very pretty there. The guys we rented snorkel gear from advised as the best point to snorkel based on conditions but it was way...More

We were told by concierge at the resort that Anini Beach was going to be a great spot to visit. This beach was overall fairly easy to get to and locate on the north side of the island. The parking lot is located right next...More

This beach has lots of shade when it gets sunny and hot. When we went it was cloudy and cool but the water was really wonderful, very calm and clean. Was one of the cleaner beaches I’ve been to. Great facilities, showers, covered picnic tables,...More

One of our favorites in Kauai. Beautiful beach with shade trees all the way down to the water, and very shallow water a long ways out perfect for easy snorkeling and relaxing. Swam with sea turtles and enjoyed the adorable crabs running along the shore...More

Great view of turtles though rough tides and cold! The water was merky but many small fish and big turtles! The park itself was not kept up! Rusty shower heads, unkempt fish cleaning table, and only 2 covered picnic areas in this park! The restrooms...More

Love that the water is calm and great for safe swimming. There are restrooms and plenty of shade for relaxing. Ample parking available. Although I've read it's great for snorkeling, didn't see much. Noticed a big difference in the number of people. I guess it's...More

Spent a couple of hours at Anini Beach because it was recommended by our hotel. Since I get easily freaked out in the water (saw Jaws too young), this was a nice place to be. The water was shallow enough to stand up in it...More

Great spot for snorkeling as it has a reef about 300 Yards from the shore. The water is calm and it is safe for all ages. There are restrooms and plenty of parking. It can get a little crowded at times as it is a...More

We found this beach 11 yrs ago while just cruising around and loved it. At the time, it seemed that less people visited or knew about it. Little food trucks would cruise through and you could make a day out of just relaxing. Years later,...More

We went early in the morning and parking wasn't an issue. It did fill up fast as the day went on. There was more parking than at some of the beaches in the area.

Poipou beach park and Anini were our favorites when we went a month ago. Many others were still closed, but may be open now.

I was just at Anini May6th/7th. It didn’t appear to have any damage at all. We camped about 15 feet from the ocean. The water was clear so it should be nice for your trip!
