The theater itself is worth five stars. It's an old African-American theater in the heart of downtown Athens. Beautiful interior with comfortable seats. But who decides how to get people in? Mid June, and everyone had to stand in a line in the heat around...More

This show was 30 mins late first of all and we brought school children. Second, there are a lot of seats in this old theatre, as quaint as it is, where you cannot see at all. So you pay to see very little.

This is a fantasticly renovated theatre with top drawer acoustics and decent seating for all. If you get the chance to go here for any entertainment - do it!

This is often used for local performances, but it is an old African-American theater right in the heart of downtown. It was renovated several years ago. It's worth a visit

I have attended dance recitals at the Morton several times, and it is quite the place to go. I love the feel of oldness it has while still being able to serve the present. There is an elevator for the handicapped, but for others there...More

What a treat! I love to go to this theatre for a play or performance. It's historically important to Athens, and has been authentically renovated. Every seat is close enough to see the stage except for maybe 4 that are at a support post. Really...More
