While visiting our daughter at UGA we had some time to kill and spent an afternoon strolling through the beautiful gardens. It was very nice and I'd recommend it to others visiting the area.

Hours listed are incorrect. Check website for hours. Enjoyed walking around the center. We were not able to tour the gardens because it began to storm.

A great stop to escape from the hub-bub. Stop and smell the floral! There is also a nice gift shop and small lunch counter. Certainly for all ages, although the wee ones will get tired of walking. Very well done and a great selection to...More

Great walking trails. Readily available maps and walking trails that are well marked and maintained. If you're interested in finding a great walking experience whether you have a little or a lot of time, I would highly recommend the State Botanical gardens.

It's free to park and visit although they appreciate donations. I usually try to put a few dollars in the box by the entrance whenever we attend but its not required or expected.

There are a good number of paved trails that are, but there are more unpaved trails that are not. The paved trails to cover the majority of the actual gardens though while the unpaved trails are just nature trails.
