really cool boardwalk and great place to park for greenway access. just watch out for the bees that live in the nature center. ha!

Sandy Creek Nature Center offers wonderful hiking trails. The course I enjoyed was the 6.5 mile loop around the lake. Beautiful views and a challenging course. It cost $2 to enter the park, and they may have a yearly pass for frequent visitors. Plenty of...More

This nature center was one of the best I've visited. The educational center was very informative and interesting for children..i.e. live bee hive, snakes and aquariums with local fish and turtles. The hiking trails are very well marked and easy walking. Watch your step though...More

This is a outdoor treasure.....a inexpensive day out doors....many activities Hiking trails...picnic pavilions... sandy beach and lake swimming with life guard.. Fun for all ages....check out their website....worth a visit... Go Dawgs
