I can remember as a kid driving by this odd sculptor in the middle of the field outside of Watkinsville. I think that it has moved but it is still interesting.

A large statue of an iron horse; not a destination, but if you happen to drive by it makes for a brief "wow, look an iron horse!" from your 4 year old.

Love this sculpture in the middle of a large corn field. What a fun place to visit. We climbed it and took pictures lol, just because it's sturdy and so out there. Definitely a highlight of the day.

The Iron Horse is a striking sculpture with a fascinating history. It's located on private property, so you'll need permission tp get a close look. A little Athens historical homework is required to really appreciate this.
