OK, you will find bulldog statues like these all around the Athens are in honor of the Georgia Bulldogs. There are different ones with different designs, color patterns, etc, all over and they really are neat to see and enjoy. Neat idea from whoever started...More

Unless you are a dyed-in-the-wool GA Dawgs fan, this is NOT a must-see. BUT it is so much fun!!! You just want to go get your picture taken here. Silly, goofy, fun art announcing to the world that this is dawg country!!!.

The Let the Dawgs Out art exhibit is an awesome display of the city of Athens spirit and love for our home town University of Georgia Bulldogs. Definitely something any traveling sports fan wants to visit while in the hippest, best college town in America.......More

Othe cities have Alligators, Bears or Cows, Athens has Dawgs. They are scattered around town, each one being unique.

6 year old granddaughter enjoyed pointing out the. Bulldawgs all over town. Interesting for adults too, great variety.

We stopped here to take a picture of this dog as part of geocaching. There is some construction going n in front of it. It was cute!!

I am very impressed as to how clean the city streets are in Athens. It makes for a good walk downtown.

The bull dawg statues around the Athens business are very cool .... Maybe hinges on my love of the bull dawgs but still to see them all over town painted is pretty cool !!!!
