We enjoyed looking at the exhibits and learning a little about the history of the area. The views of the bay were beautiful. The only thing disappointing was that the roof of the fort had apparently been redone at some point but was not replicated...More

spent a couple of hours exploring the fort as it looks out over the bay. Great promontory and you can see why it was built there. The local government is working to make better and be able to showcase history dating back to Christopher Columbus....More

The fort itself is rather rundown, but there are some great views along the coast. The town of Trujillo is quite quaint and worth wandering around. Not much infrastructure in the town for tourists, but the area is scenic and the locals are friendly. Hope...More

Great fort in the heart of Trujillo with lots of history and amazing views. The price was very affordable and the fort was one of my favorite attractions in Trujillo.
