The ruins might not be as impressive as Tikal or Chichen Itza but they are worth visiting. There are tunels under the city and you can acces 2 of them. You have to pay extra for that in the entrance which I didn´t know and...More

this is better enjoyed with a guide. Over 1000 years old and full of mystery. Best appreciated late in the day when it is cooler

Copan Ruinas are a must if in Honduras or even if you're in a neighboring country. The quality of the ruins, in terms of preservations, is outstanding. I highly recommend walking about and getting close and personal with these Mayan ruins.

There are no words to describe the level of details the Maya's had; this stairway is the history of Copan in stone. A must see!!!

The hieroglyphic stairway is a must-see during your visit to the Copan Ruins! It is beautiful and the history behind it and the entire site is just fascinating! One of my favorite Mayan ruin sites that I've ever visited!

This very elaborate stairway is unique among Mayan ruins. The elaborate carvings tell many intriguing stories about the people and culture.

The staircase is quite a thing to see. Take a guide to get the full scope and meaning of it all. We enjoyed it !

this is one of the highlights within the Copan Ruinas, the historic site on the Unsco list. Unfortunately, parts are missing and to be found in Boston, US. Would be nice if they would return them here...

The stairway is the only feature in the park itself with real information provided. It is beautiful, and seeing it carefully preserved is reassuring.

hi megafunez the stairway is part of the whole historic site, i.e. accessible whenever the site is open. If I remember right, it opens at 8 AM, every day, including Sundays. Wish you a great visit.
