The Cays is an interesting place to visit. It is amazing how these people live on such a tiny little Cay. There is a little restaurant where you dock which has delicious food! Their specialty is lobster. Try it!

This was my first time visiting the Cays in Utila, I travelled with friends who have been here before. Terrific escape, I loved being on my own secluded island. It takes some effort to get to the Cays, but once you are there it is worth the effort. Plan ahead, you need to make sure and plan your supplies to... More

I've stayed on Jewel Cay 4 years in a row, and this year I'm going twice!! My original trip I planned for just an overnight and ended up staying a week. If you are looking for quiet, no cars, local folks, good food, Jewel Cay is the way to go. A MUST: Myra's Baleadas. Just a short distance from Jewel... More

Stayed 8 days (scuba diving) on this small island. This place is totally authentic. Verry nice people. Little shops and home style restaurants. Peace and quiet. Beautiful sceenery. Only a handfull of tourists. No sand/beach but swimming from dock. Beautiful reef.

You wowed us Hotel Kayla and Utila Cays Diving. Well...we didn't actually boat dive as the weather wasn't favourable for these old bones(I would have when I was younger), but had some really interesting shore dives. The rooms are clean and great for a nights rest, and the boat captains gave us a smooth ride to and from our hotel... More

Recently we spent 9 days in the Island of Utila, Honduras and Water Cay. What an amazing place! To get there: We flew Delta from Denver to Atlanta. Spent the night in ATL and took an early flight to San Pedro Sula, Honduras (SAP). From SAP, we jumped on our next flight to La Ceiba (LCE) with Aerolineas Sosa (small... More

Best beach I visited in utila and a fun boat ride from the main island. Bring your own food and beer or have the boat that takes you take you the the neighboring fishers island for a quick meal. If you plan to snorkel, ask for some tips first. As novice snorkelers we couldn't find the right place.

I wish I could have stayed here so much longer. This isn't your 5 star spa experience, this is your walk down main street, no cars, say hi to everyone you see, kids playing, people working, people relaxing, people living. Makes it really hard to want to go back anywhere else.

Fun place to stop for food, drinks and sight seeing. A great place to go and get FRESH sea food right off the fishermen's boat.
