Can't recommend Captain Morgan's Dive Shop enough. Had a great visit there to get my Open Water certification. My dive instructor was Woody Lamar and he was phenomenal. Our group was me, a friend of mine and a 10-year-old girl. Woody did an incredible job...More

Didn't really know what expected us. We looked forward to finally do our Open Water. Woody was our instructor and reached us the basics of diving very well with pretty good explanations and practices. We recommend to start the course with him. Thanks a lot...More
Ask for Woody. He’s the best instructor I could have hoped for. He knows where to go, he’s very clear and he will beautifully share his passion for diving.
On another note, Captain Morgan’s dive center is the perfect place to learn diving. Hot showers,...More

Most travelers coming to Utila arrive via the Utila Dream ferry from La Ceiba which departs twice daily at 9:30 am and 4:00 pm except for Saturdays s they make a direct trip to Roatan so the times are a little different but there are still 2 departures from La Ceiba. I spoke to Morgan's Travel and they informed me 2 airlines offer direct flights from Canada to Honduras, Sun Wing which flies to La Ceiba and Air Transit which flies to Roatan, both on Mondays only, You can contact Morgan's Travel at utilamorganstravel yahoo com for more detailed information as to available scheduled flights as well as chartered flight options depending on your schedule.
You can also contact us directly at info.captainmorgans gmail
com for more questions. We just created a new web site which we put online 2 days ago at divingutila where you can reserve diving and accommodations also. We plan to add information regarding travel options to utila to our site.
I had to delete a few things portions of the email and web site addresses listed above as I received this error message "Sorry, questions may not include HTML or website links. Please edit your answer."
I hope this information will help. We look forward to your visit.
