This was our 1st time visiting Mahogany Bay. It was by far the prettiest island we visited this trip. The sand was white and fluffy, the water was clear and clean. It was crowded and a little hard to find chairs all together but we...More
We did a last minute snorkel with the Queen Victoria boat. They were quick to accommodate us. They gave me a car ride to the office to sign safety document and charge my cruise ship account. We were given a thorough safety briefing. While in...More
This is one of my favorite ports to relax at the beach. We always get a cabana and get to ride the ski lift to the beach. It's actually faster to walk, but it is so cool to see the ship and beach from the...More
Without a doubt, the beach and surrounding areas of Mahogany Bay are excellent attractions. The beach is exceptional, clean and clear water. The snorkeling area is part of the Mesoamerica reef, and provides some colorful fish.
The tram ride to the beach is awesome, and...More
As the ship docked I stood looking at the island , and all at once I smelled the most wonderful scent. It smelled like almond extract. As we strolled to the beach we passed through a nature trail

I went to Roatan with my family we got off a cruise ship and got a tour of the island by a guy named Jeffrey. He was so nice and concerned about what we wanted to spend the little time we had on the island....More
We arrived on a cruise ship. Another ship was already docked. Beautiful beach. Lots to do - chair lift to beach, kayaking, jet skis, beach, restaurants and bars, playground for kids. You can even get your hair braided. Plenty of beach chairs but the beach...More
Super clean and a beautiful beach! Roatan was so beautiful, great shopping and relaxing on the beach. We took the lift over to the beach and enjoyed the day laying on the available chairs, sand is coarse and soft. You can also get a fish...More

Free for us! We just walked to the nice clean beach for less than 5 mins from the cruise port. Most of other guests in the magic chairs were stuck for 20 mins when they were loading other passengers. Beach Chairs on the extreme left of the beach before the private area were free first-come-first-served. The area was secure with few guards around and they checked cruise-id card for entry. So no locals other than the approved vendors. We rented some floats and water paddle scooter while there for few bucks and wife even got a fish-pedicure for $25. Outside showers and decent restrooms. All in all good fun for very less or
free. Had few amazing $5 chilled coconut water on the beach. I would rather pay for things I want than pay upfront to the cruise-line. Hope this helps.
