We were lucky to visit on Good Friday. The processions leading to the church were amazing. A small band was playing inside and the colors were lovely.

Interesting church in the heart of Santiago Atitlan right where you catch the bus to Chichicastenango and other parts. You can't miss it. It is not the most beautiful of churches but it is impressive.

We stop there with the tour we took w the guid. I recommend to go in for short visit. About 10 min. Nice atmosphere. Old impressive church.
