This is a very small museum on the hotel grounds. It has great explanation about volcanoes around the lake, what kind they are and the formation of them and the lake.

Great little museum with pottery from the area and very interesting visuals on the geological history of the area and the lake. Bottom part is made to resemble underwater excavations of archaeological site. Great place!!!
This museum is much smaller than I expected, given the huge National Geographic sign out front. To find it, you need to walk past the check-in desk for the hotel.
We were the only visitors, so they had to turn the lights on for us....More
