This is a small museum, but I enjoyed learning more about the specific history of Lake Atitlan, it's geology and the people who've lived there for years. It was worth the hour I spent there.

Don’t miss to visit this museum, it adds mystery to your visit to lake Attlan. I helped do the second part of the museum wth the murals ceiling and floor, It is small but worth 5 stars.

located wiithin the hotel/posada, this small museum has some great exhibits on display. there is a second one-room museum linked to it for the sunk island site Samabaj, entry fee 35 Q. p.p. see for the same location the Tripadvisor entry under "Hotel Posada de...More
