One of the nicest theatre restorations in the south. Even has an organ that rises up from the orchestra pit while being played.

Wow - amazing theatre - refurbished. Old plush carpet and curtains. Happened upon theatre while walking around town during a stop on the SAM Shortline Excursion Train tour. A nice place to see what the "theatre" was like in its hay day.More

We stopped here during our visit to Americus. There was some type of recital that evening but they let us self tour. Such a gem, not much goes on here, you would think it would have shows/movies/ events at least monthly.More
