We spent 2 weeks with ReefCI diving, learning about reef conservation and lounging in hammocks on their private island. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food was good and the island was beautiful. Most of the dive sites were only a 2-3 minute ride from the island. While the boat captain (Chuck) was great, the dive boat itself... More

Tom Owens Caye is a charming, tiny island surrounded by coral reefs, fantastic for snorkelling and scuba diving either from the shore or after very short boat rides. The food is good, the staff are friendly and the accommodation is basic but fine. The island is free of mosquitoes and there is plenty of shade from the coconut palms to... More

Where do I even start? My friends and I decided that we wanted to do a get away and when looking around for locations we stumbled upon ReefCI. What a better way to spend 2 weeks then on a private island with a group of your closest friends and working to help preserve the coral reef at the same time?... More

I was looking for something different, something more than just another dive trip. ReefCI was certainly the right choice. They are a unique marine conservation dive organisation focused on protecting the Belize Barrier Reef through their many projects. My visit with them was educational and meaningful! There was a good mix of people on the island and a real sense... More

It was like an adult summer camp, but better. It was great having a schedule and all the activities and meals planned. And, awesome meals ready for us after our dives (thanks, Linda, for the great cooking!!). Great company - the staff, the other volunteers, and the other island guests. I was worried about not being able to eat (special... More

The great: excellent, healthy food, fresh fish every day, salads, etc., courtesy of Linda, a wonderful cook who knows how to use herbs and spices to their advantage. The possibility to dive at least 3 times a day. My fellow volunteers (I was lucky and had 3 other colleagues for the week, which is not always the case). This is... More

My husband and I had a great 2-week holiday adventure on Tom Owens Caye with ReefCI. Great diving combined with education and service. Can't beat it for a meaningful holiday. Marco, Willie, K, Anna, Luis, and Snake were great hosts who took care of everything.

Booked a last minute 2 week trip through POD. Met some great people and had an awesome time. All staff were great and went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable. Nothing was a problem. Meals were fantastic and I really enjoyed the dives. If I ever get back to Belize, I will be back!

I booked the Reef Conservation trip to Tom Owens Caye with ReefCI through POD. The trip was fantastic - I was collected from my hostel on the Monday morning and the trip to Tom Owens Caye took about 1 hour by boat. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are large and comfortable, the food is incredible. We dived three times... More
