This was a very short visit (the guide brought us back for about a half hour...I would have loved more time). There are probably 20 iguanas in an enclosure. You can hold them, watch them, and most fun...feed them!

We spent an hour learning about and holding the green iguanas, the kids loved feeding them the most. A fun way to spend a part of the day!

Lak of contextualization, very poor infrastructure, hard to believe in the real action of this NGO. It is literally a cage with 20 iguanas in the backyard of a luxury hotel. Will never bring my goups here again.More

The kids loved this informative hands on experience. If you are in the Cayo District, take an hour to stop here. You'll also be helping the iguanas.

Based in the grounds of a resort hotel with lush gardens. Small and low key , but the guide was obviously committed to the iguanas and their conservation. The fee pays to maintain the project. The iguanas are rescued , rehabilitated and then released back into...More

Your donation for the tour goes back to the conservation project so it's a win win. I've been twice and both have been wonderful. The guides take their time and there is plenty of opportunity to interact with the iguanas. One thing I feel the...More
