If you only have a limited time in Belize, this should be one of the top three places to experience. Once we arrived from Maya Beach, we ask the ranger for a guide. Our guide Alex, from Upside Down Tours arrived 15 minutes later. Alex...More

This is a relatively non-strenuous 2-3 hour guided cave tour which starts with a brief 20 minute trek through the jungle to the cave opening. Rose, our very friendly guide, shared a high degree of geological and historical knowledge as she discussed the karst formations...More

Our family stayed at the Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge and opted to do the St. Herman's cave tubing tour with blue hole swim. First thing, please be generous with the bug spray, our walk to the cave was infested with mosquitoes. Be prepared to hold...More

We had a great time hiking, exploring the cave and interpretive center. Then we cooled off as we swam in the inland blue hole. Nice facilities and grounds. You really get your moneys worth.

This excursion was a half day trip to a nearby cave - it was beautiful and interesting but I understand there is a larger cave for tubing that may be a bit more "exciting"

I did a cave tubing tour at St. Herman's. This being my third cave tour (also did one in Mexico , and the ATM cave in Belize), I found this to be solidly good, though nothing can live up to the ATM. It starts with...More

Super cool history. Super cool cave. Even a super cool tour guide. LOTS of stairs and paddle work. Don’t bring your 68 year old mom who has bad knees and doesn’t work out. More work than anticipated and little to no current to float along...More

Beautiful cave to explore. Looking from inside the cave to the outside is quite a magnificent view. The cave was cool and our guide helped everyone carefully climb down into the cave and over the rocks into the river. Being in the cave makes you...More
