Has no business charging to see some old furniture. Not very interesting. There are way better things to do in town. Take a photo of the outside and you've got the gist.
Rich history to see and great water views. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We arrived on a day off but they let us walk through on our own without charge. So sweet.
Government house has interesting historical exhibits. Take the time to read the letters and journal entries to get a sense of colonial Belize (British Honduras). The grounds and view are lovely!

We stayed for one night at Government House before we journeyed into the jungle and saw the Mayan temples. This hotel is in the Fort Garry area; it's clean, secure and in a safe area of Belize City.
