The visibility in the atoll is amazing (35/40m). Really good spot. Not so much in terms of "big" things, but corals, schools, and some turtles/nurse sharks

This reef was about an hour boat ride from Caye Caulker. My wife and I completed 2 of our open water cert dives here, then returned for an additional 2 dives later in the week. Very calm and clear water gives you a great view of the reef. Our first dive we saw a HUGE eagle ray, and then many... More

There are several snorkeling vendors on Caye Caulker but we highly recommend Carlos' Snorkeling. His office is located next to Amor y Café. He took us out on his catamaran from 10am to 3pm. We had 3 different snorkeling locals, saw sea turtles, sharks, sting rays, lobster, moray eels. Carlos and his crew prepared an awesome lunch and served Rum... More

We dove this reef twice and our dive group of 5 bagged about 80 Lion Fish! We went with Sea Star and The Dive Bar cooked them up for us; Delicious!

This reef had some of the most beautiful purple fan coral that I have seen anywhere. There were not a ton of fish while we were their, but we were snorkeling off a boat and only got to stay there for about 30 -45 minutes. We also saw the most conks that I have ever seen in one spot.

We took a boat ride here with E-Z Boy Tours. The ride is choppy, but we got a chance to snorkel some different waters and avoid the crowds that some of the other places had. I would definitely do this tour again, though it can be hard to find someone willing to made the trip if you don't have a... More

I did 3 dives in 1 (rainy) day on the Turneffe reef. The reef is nice and healthy. Fish quantity and variety was good. There were some bigger animals: a free swimming green murray eel, a turtle and an almost tame nurse shark, as well as a remora that was very interested in our group. I went there from Caye... More
