This is not a recent review, we toured with ras creek 2 years ago and it was an experience I will NEVER forget. I would not suggest this tour for everyone as ras himself (we called him untouchable) is a drunken MENACE! But we had such a fun time. I met ras at the split and he was drunken rambling... More

This is also not a recent review of Ras Creek Ecotours, but a memory and insight into the man himself. My wife and I have been friends with Ras for 20 years. He took our wedding party on a sunset cruise when we married on the Caye that will forever be one of the best memories of my life -... More

This is not a recent review, but a reminiscence of days past. My friends and I spent a week on Caye Caulker in the fall of 2000. I picked the most long ago "visit date" the system allowed, but May 2014 is a lie. I think I had read about Ras Creek in my copy of Let's GO: Central America.... More

Didn't bother taking his sunset cruise but I was hassled and harassed by him to do so every single time I saw him on the island. He frequents the bottle (or some harder drugs?) and when he is on his daily bender he will be incessantly spouting off and picking fights with tourists and locals alike. He made some really... More

this guy approached us on the road one morning, offering a trip on his boat, where my girlfriend and i could feel free to hold hands (as we were already doing walking down the street). well, long story short, after politely declining, his offers escalated in intensity throughout the day, until he was shouting and running down the street after... One of the seminal figures in the discovery and development the Hol Chan Marine Reserve better known as Shark-Ray Alley and the Sea Horse Ranch on the lee side of Caye Caulker is veteran tour guide Bert Nicholas, AKA Ras Creek. He was a pioneer in marine tour guiding into must-see tourist destinations between Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye. Those... More

ah.... I can't describe it.... I met Ras 17 years ago... both young and with a real passion for sea creatures. He was the first one (and I'm a witness !!!) that with patience and dedication was going out every day to the reef and trying to get in contact with Stingrays and Sharks .... To me Ras is a... More

When I go back to the island I WILL do this again! The trip was ALL afternoon we snorkeled with stingrays and nurse sharks, ate conch and fish we caught on the boat, feed the frigates by hand, and saw wild seahorses. All this was followed by the most amazing sunset to the west and a full moon to the... More

Ras Creek is, indeed, a Belizean icon. He is a true conservationist who knows how to ensure his tours are top notch. I had never seen anyone hypnotize a shark until meeting Creek. A true treasure.

Ras Creek is a Belizean icon. He is responsible for the local reef, sting ray sanctuaries and has even been working on a sea horse reserve. He is a true character and going with his flow is part of the game. You can track him down at the split (not the water taxi) and make a loose plan to go... More
