With Blue Tang we were able to sail, snorkel and swim with Nurse Sharks for an unbelievable price! It was amazing. Highlight of the trip for me!

So nice to go around snorkelling in Hol Chan: the beauty of the coral reef and the quantity of fish is amazing. Little sharks and rays and a full range of of little coloured ones that are just at arm distance...really a wonderful experience!

I have snorkelled in many parts of the world including the Great Barrier Reef and have never had such an impressive experience as this. It was wonderful to be so close to so many large fish in perfect visibility.

It's a decent trip to kill some time but don't expect the most amazing marine life scenery of your life. There are some fish here and there but the way this place is promoted and talked about, being the " number 1 thing to do...More

We dove & snokeled at the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Amazingly!! The water was clear, the fish were plentiful and varied.

fairly new to organized snorkeling excursions, did Mexican Rocks first and although our guide was better, Hol Chan and Shark/Ray Alley was so much cooler!!

We saw some nice coral and lots of fish. A couple small sharks and rays. Nice stop. We had rented the Clementine for the day and this was one of our stops. Tony was a great guide.

We did this as a joint snorkeling trip with shark alley from our hotel - just 3 couples but although we went later in the day to avoid the crowds there were still many large groups but our guide did try to lead us away...More

It has some signs of bleaching, but overall appears healthy. Many types of healthy coral. Lots of different fish, sharks and even a few spotted eagle rays. We didn’t see large grouper, but still very good snorkeling.

No. It is required that you have a guide inside the reserve to protect the wildlife and corals.
