Hubby and I have camped all around the US and we are NEVER disappointed with Ga parks. Why Florida, where we’re from, can’t provide such nice parks is a mystery to us. Keep up the good work Georgia! The campsites are great and lots of...More

With recent hurricane damage we have been without power and water for 3 days and counting. My wife and Sister-in-law went to park office, since we live only 5 miles from park, and asked to use bath house to take a shower. The park manager...More

This is a great state park for camping even with tents like we did, NIce facilities, nice playground and activities. We liked walking the nature trails and looking for the tortoises that are protected and monitored. We saw several of them walking around and some...More

Pulled in with our Motorcoach for an overnight stay. What a hidden gem. Full hookups, spacious sites, beautiful area with lots of green space, hiking trails and lovely trees. Would definitely stay here again for longer than one night although probably not a summer stay...More

Great place to camp, fish, have reunions, ride bikes, and walk on nature trails. The campground bath houses are clean and spacious. There is a nice playground for the kids. It's a great place to camp at Halloween. Kids come to trick or treat.

We have taken our trailer here a few times. The State Park is really beautiful and maintained to perfection. We have enjoyed the beach area where the kids have gone swimming, we have had BBQ parties with friends, BBQ units supplied, enjoyed fishing with the...More

Large state park with lots of campsites and a lake. Office staff was very helpful and courteous. The showers were very nice with non slip flooring, good pressure (until someone flushed a toilet), and big campsites. Would love to come back.

Wow! This GA state park was the best we have encountered yet in our camping ventures! There are two campground loops...one with full hookup and the other with electric and water only! The sites are larger than most state parks! Several large Class A had...More

We really like sites 33 & 35 during the summer, because they are under the trees and face towards to woods. Both sites are full hookup and can be reserved. Actually, walking the park, all of the sites are nice, but 23, 25... More
