My friend and I used this company to kayak down the Peace River. They were extremely helpful and informative. The boats were clean and the staff professional. I HIGHLY recommend kayaking or canoeing down the Peace River. It is beautiful and smooth enough that even a beginner can enjoy the experience. It is also good for families with small children.

Took my 79 year old mom and cruised the river for 3 hours today. Service by all staff was excellent and the young man (Brandon) who checked us in afterwards entertained us by doing a headstand on his paddle board! Would recommend easily to all ages who want to get outside and explore nature on the water

We had a wonderful day on the river.....the weather didn't cooperate for the later part, but all in all still a great day. We did not get to look for any prehistoric sharks teeth because of the weather conditions, but we did get to see a 9 foot alligator on the bank. They have the 12, 8, and the 5... More

Is your idea of bliss camping out under the stars? The Canoe Outpost on Peace river is a good meeting place and jumping off point. I am not a camper, but was in on the trip. The plan was the Chassahowitzka River Campground, set the tent, rent a kayak or canoe, and set out to Seven Sisters Springs, one of... More

Was supposed to go out at 10am. Had to check in by 9:30am. Arrived at 8:30am tried to check in but because all of party wasn't there we had to wait. At 9:30am rest of party shows up meanwhile we had guest in line for us because it was so long at 9:15am. So, we finally finish paying by 10:07am... More

Canoed many times on the river. The river is great. This place is very unorganized, each staff tells you something different. We had large group and we're treated very badly by the manager. Many groups around us also had problems, they came over to us to complain about the manager. He should not be dealing with people. He is aggressive... More

My husband and I have taken 2 trips in the last couple years and will return next week for 2 more. We come down to this area of Florida from Michigan and would not use any other company for the fossil trips. The people are friendly and full of helpful advise. The equipment is in good condition and the trips... More

We have used Canoe Outpost in the past. We arrived at about 9:30 a.m. on a Wednesday morning. Beautiful day.... 80 and sunny. We went to check in and were greeted with a big smile. (By the way.... the gray haired lady was nice..... contrary to other reviews :) The lady gave great instructions and directed us on what to... More

I like to take this 19 mile canoe trip at least once a year with a couple close friends. We always check the water level on the website first and pick a time of year that is nice and cool out. There are plenty of places to camp along the right side of the river and always Lots of firewood... More

We were dropped off at Brownville Park about 8 miles upriver from the canoe livery. The Peace River offers a clean and non-threatening paddle as it moves along nicely between sandy banks. We stopped at one of the designated camping areas for a shore lunch. We met a group with camping gear that were going further upriver for an overnight... More
