We only visited the springs and the playground (to cook lunch), but it was a beautiful place. The park is very family friendly. It wasn't over crowded when we were there, but there was some work being done to the wall in the springs. The...More

We have stayed 3 times at Wekiwa State Park, in our RV. It is just a fantastic adventure. The cool spring fed swimming basin is perfect for hoy summer days. Do not pass it up, if you have a chance to go

The water was very nice and refreshing. Just the right thing to do when it's more than 100° fahrenheit outside. There is not enough shade for all people in the park. But you can buy refreshments and food. Springwater, food, drink, sunshine. Perfect day for...More

During the hot summer weekends and holidays plan to come very early. The lobe starts forming around 7:30am to get in and will fill up quickly for the day! Great place to spend the day with family and friends..

Great to escape city and theme parks for a day. Lovely springs for swimming and canoeing. Great walking trails up to smaller lake nearby - superb. No need for boots - trainers are fine

The Wekiva "Paint Out " is especially nice, held in late Feb and early March. Spectacular to watch the artists paint " en Plein Air".

Prudence, I don't know for sure but I would think tubing is okay. I doubt there is a renatl place nearby. Try calling the park. I'm sure they could tell you.

I know there is a swimming area so you should be able to scuba dive. I don't think it's very deep though.

No, Scuba diving is not permitted without prior permission. There are places on the Wekiva River where you can scuba dive and one or two deep holes.
