We saw the signs for Wekiva Springs while driving through town. On a whim we decided to stop and check it out. I am so happy we did! The entry fee was $6.00 for the three of us. The Springs were crystal clear and not too crowded at all, we came on a Wednesday. There is a playground and lots... More

the Springs are pristine and scenic. I rented a kayak and went down the river. And when the weather is cold...a dip in the springs seems warm - 72 degrees. lots of wildlife. saw about 20 wild turkeys right by the springs and hawks resting on the stop signs. and go to the nature center. you learn a lot about... We rented a canoe at the State Park for $30 and enjoyed a great day on the water. It is so clear in some placed you can see the bottom. We saw fish and huge turtles, birds, an otter and, of course, a gator. This is our third visit and we are never disappointed. It is a "must do" activity... More

We were very lucky with the weather and had a nice swim in the clear water. We also hired a canoe from the on site store and enjoyed spotting turtles and alligators. Kayaks were also available, singles and doubles. We paid $38 for 2 hours hire of 2 canoes. I think the kayaks were a little more. There is a... More

You can rent kayaks or canoes and check out the river. It flows away from the put in location so don't get too tired to paddle back. It is a gentle flow so it isn't a big deal. Usually see fish, turtles, birds, and a couple of gators every time we go. There is also a boarded nature walk that... More

A good place for SUP, canoeing and kayaking. The trees and water plants are beautiful and so are the birds. In case you are wondering, I didn't see any alligators. The natural pool is too crowded with people and floats but it's nice to cool off after a long ride up the river. There are volleyball courts available, too, if... More

The spring is pretty good but the bike trails are terrible. All sand and impossible to ride...We went for a bike push, rather than a bike ride. On the good side, there are some huge birds here, Turkey buzzards I think.

Well it's a state park. It's just ok for me. Fishing spot is awful. Camping spots are ok nice and clean but all shade so no dish network. Bathhouse is kinda old and stayed damp most of the time at the stalls. Dirt landings so your rig stays dirty. About all I can say it's a one and done for... More

We camped here for 4 nights and liked it. The lots are not as private as we like but still has some privacy. The springs are gorgeous and plenty of trails for hiking. The bath house was clean and well maintained, which is a big deal for us. They tell you about the bears so you have to make sure... More
