Bean Point is a great place to walk and explore. We love to go in the late afternoon and find sand dollars at low tide. It's quieter than the other beaches on the island and accessible via designated access points along the road. Park within...More

Very wide and low-angle white sugary sand. Free access from many side streets. Spectacular clean blue green water - like you are in the Caribbean. Very clean beach sand. Gentle surf. Some of the most spectacular sunsets in the world. Usually a happening with plenty...More

Beautiful! Lovely walk all around the tip of Anna Marie Island. The beach is pristine, love to see the waves, and hear the ocean roar. The natural beach is guarded and maintained. It is a happy place.

Bean point did NOT disappoint! It was kind of a trek to get there and finding a place to park can be difficult but what a beautiful beach!

We've vacation on AMI before, but this was our first time on the North end of the island. I highly recommend it! Bean Point and the surrounding beach is awesome. We found that North of Pine Ave. is very peaceful.

Lovely unspoilt wide beaches with beautiful sand which is almost white in colour. Two bodies of water at this point with distant views towards St Petersburg/Tampa and the impressive skyway bridge.Pleasant lowrise homes line the shore.

Bean point is where the Gulf meets the Bay, so there are rip tides at the convergence of these great waterways. While not a place for swimming and probably not the best choice for kids who want to splash around, for adults who want a...More

There are no life guards along this stretch of the beach. People do play in the water/sand, walking, and chasing waves, however, Holmes Beach (just as you come onto the island) has a beautiful swimming area with life... More
