Quiet park along the river with well maintained trails for biking/hiking, fishing pier, kayak launch, restrooms, covered picnic pavilions. You enter from North River Road. Plenty of parking and pay $1/hr or $5/day - put money in an envelope, slide it into the post receptacle...More

Worth the drive, even if you have to pay to park and walk. It was lovely with pathways along the river, map and brochure at the parking lot, "road signs" along the way with distances and direction pointers to next location. Took some great shots...More

Great park. Lots of hiking and biking loops-check out their website for the trails. The parking area also has maps for hiking and biking. Great park along the river-clean and beautifully maintained.

I envy how this count invested along with the State in their Park districts. Each location has something of interest. People are friendly and can help direct you to items of interest within each park area. Enjoy and explore.

Over the last 6 months I have camped here twice and tonight just visited for a nice leisurely stroll to the few river outpost spots for some quiet time. It was about the last hour before sunset so the park was quiet. The hours are...More

This park usually isn't crowded so a nice leisurely stroll through here is quite peaceful. You don't want to go during rainy season not only because it's wet but the mosquitoes will eat you alive! If you can make it though , go straight to...More
