We had a great 11 mile hike up to Buckskin Pass. The mountain goats and wildflowers were amazing. The views are amazing.

Took the bus from Highlands with two dogs. Did the Maroon Creek Trail. It was not too crowded as we were there by 8:30 am. So beautiful! They were preparing for a wedding. Anyone visiting Colorado must go to this place!!

The bus ride from Aspen Highlands is only 20 minutes. The bus has no onboard restroom facilities. They are available near where the bus stops at the top of the hill.

No swimming in the lake. No going into the lake from what I understand as the water is protected, but unfortunately many people walk in and one group even climbed on to the beaver's dam.
