We rented a Jeep Rubicon from Eagle Jeep Rental and took castle creek road to midnight mine road and continued on to Taylor pass. It took us about five hours to go up and back down. I think the trip was only about 25 miles total. Pack a lunch and take a camera. We stopped and played in the snow... More

We enjoyed the scenery along the way and the Taylor Reservoir at the end made the long drive worth every minute - beautiful place!

It's strictly four wheel, but what fun. We then take either the trail down to the ghost town of ashcroft in Castle Creek Valley or go... More
