We spent a little time in this park enjoying the fall colours. It is nicely designed , but relatively small. Parking is not straightforward and the entrance to the park not well signed.

What a tribute to John Denver. Very special place that should be on everyone’s list of places to visit when in Aspen.

This is an abundantly beautiful park with wild flowers, areas for quiet meditation, a stream, quiet pathways, and best of all - the timeless words of John Denver etched into rocks. Reading the words of Rocky Mountain High was very nostalgic. This secluded park is...More

Check out these gardens- beautiful flowers and lots of great landscaping to look at. They really did a nice job of putting the trail together- John Denver would be pleased I'm sure

Tucked behind the athletic fields and next to the river, lies a little bit of heaven on earth. A small path leads from the main walkway to the Song Garden. A ring of boulders surrounding a blue spruce with lyrics to some of John's most...More

I would suggest contacting Willie Hoevers, who is also making plans for the 20th anniversary of John Denver's death. Willie is also on Facebook. My wife Diane tells me she knows you from Facebook. We live up in Wisconsin.
