Can be a little busy and very steep runs. Also can be icy on most of the runs but still fun especially with the great bars down below. Check out the Little Nells bars

Wow! It doesn't get much better than this! After two days on Aspen Mountain, the report is two thumbs up! Day one was a snow day, with ample powder and few people. Day two brought the crowds, and the powder was replaced with some played...More

Great snow. Friendly staff seemed well trained even on opening day! My kids are just learning to ski and I’m afraid that starting them here may have ruined them for less put-together operations. They have no idea that not every ski area is this great.

We had a afternoon snack at Ajax tavern. Some warm drinks and truffle fries and cauliflower! The bar was accomodating. The view looked at the slope and we watched them prep for opening day.

Unless you are seriously fit and have an hour or more to spare, I wouldn't hike up the mountain. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the top while riding the lift so walking it is not achievable for most, I think. I can't... More
