If you are driving on 285 and happen to be near Antonito this is a fun sight. Only a few blocks off the highway. Great place to get out and stretch your legs and imagination. 5 minutes and your on your way again.

If you're driving through Antonito you can't really miss it and it's worth the detour to see it. Having read his story on the internet before we got here you can sympathise more with his "work in progress". I'm presuming it's inspired by the nearby...More

My boyfriend & I like to see unusual/odd/fun things while on road trips. This place certainly fits that criteria! Multi story house, exteriors covered & decorated with beer cans, hub caps, bumpers, and various other things. Outside a bit overgrown, but you can still see...More

Off of 285 headed to Colorado, worth the detour for this silver sensation. Cannot tour the inside but an incredible display of the project for this can beverage drinker. Some nice touches of art and folk mix.

Art can be junk. Junk can be art. The wind chimes sounded great. Bet the neighbors think different. Sight to see if your in town... don't make a special trip for it.

If you're in the area, you must stop by this amazing house. You could just sit in your car and look for a long time at all the intricacies this man has built.

Crazy guy built a castle out of glass bottles and other found items. Go see it. It glistens in the sunlight and is something to behold, for sure.

I don't know the whole story behind this oddity, but if you're in town, it's certainly worth checking out. The owner popped his head out while we were looking around and I told him it was beautiful. He agreed by stating it is his castle.

As something to do, this didn't rate too high - we drove past and kept going. However, well done to the person who built it, obviously a determined and dedicated person.

No, it's a private residence, you just drive by on the street.
