We take our grandchildren to Whte Pines because the beach is fun for them, the water is not too deep for a ways out, the water is calm and they are safe. There are lots of places to put down our chairs.

There is no campground at White Pines Lake. You would have to camp at Calaveras Big Trees State Park or Golden Pines RV Resort and campground in Arnold.
