Our visit at Disneyland was Fantastic. I had broke toes and had to use a ECV. The railroad needs a Larger flat car with no seats or seats at the end . You CAN get in it, but only 2 chairs can go at a time and there is NO room to maneuver the chair. Tight fit which holds up the train during exiting and entering. If it was larger just for chairs, there would be NO problem. The ride its self is great.

The train stops at 4 points in the park. It doesn't matter where you get on but I highly recommend you do at least one lap (and if you don't have time just the area from Tomorrowland to the Main Entrance. You'll go through a tunnel with Dinosaurs and other interesting things. Make sure you're sitting on the RIGHT hand side of the train to get the best views.

The rest of the ride is okay, but this section is definitely the best..

Original Disney steam train travels around the entire park unlike at other Disney parks throughout the world. Excellent way to relax and rest while at the park. Starts at Main Street USA, the onto New Orleans square, toon town station, Tomorrowland station and back to Main Street. About 7 minute wait between train arrivals. Lots of seating. Wooden bench seating. Journey through the Grand Canyon as it is today and then journey back in time to the primeval world of the dinosaurs. Watch stegosaurus and trex battle it out for survival before returning to our modern day. The conductors would direct you to seats if you couldn't find one easily and then when time, yell all aboard in their navy pants and vests and white shirt. Engineer had his striped overalls. Always enjoy a ride on the train while visiting Disneyland. Last ride was August 2015.

We visited one side of the park the first day and the star wars and Marvels area and then to eat at downtown. Catch the train to relieve the stress of the day running from ride to ride.

I love riding the train around the park. It's very peaceful and relaxing. A way to get off your feet for awhile and enjoy unique views of the Disneyland Park.

This wonderful train ride around the park stopping at each land is wheelchair accessible at all lands except Main Street station. Wheelchair riders have s special car at the rear of the train that uses a ramp to enter the car. You and your party can ride together in the same car. The entrance is through the exit at the back of the train. The ride around the park gives you a different view of the lands and the new Galaxy’s Edge entry points. A must for first time visitors. We have been visiting Disneyland now for 52 consecutive years and still ride the train each time.

From the Teacups to the wild Matterhorn, Disneyland has something for everyone. You can ride the Train around the park or take the monorail for just a couple stops. The parade is awesome. We went to the 3:30 parade since we had a toddler with us. There’s one later as well as fireworks. Wear comfortable shoes since there’s a good bit of walking.

I've only been to Disneyland twice before my recent trip. I have a vague recollection of being in line for the railroad in 1997, but no other memories of this attraction exist in my mind. That's why I was pleasantly surprised that this ride is as fun as it is.

I boarded in New Orleans, and since I was traveling with a baby and parked my stroller, I rode the entire circuit. It was quite enjoyable. There wasn't a whole lot to see, but the views that were there were fun. I especially enjoyed the scenes immediately before the entrance station. Or was it immediately after? I don't remember. What I do remember is that it was a worthwhile journey.

The Iconic Disneyland Railroad will be shut down until the summer of 2017 due to construction on the new Star Wars Land. When it ran this was a great way to get around the park. From the Main street station at the park entrance, you would travel to the New Orleans Square station that is located between PoC and Haunted Mansion. Continuing on it would also stop at Toontown and finally Tomorrowland. Then prior to arriving back at Main Street station you would enter a few buildings with dioramas of the SW United States and Dinosaurs.

OK I love taking the train around Disneyland and seeing the dinosaurs. I saw the train at the Main Street Station as we entered the park I started up the stairs and the Disneyland employee said - You can go see it but its not running.

I asked how long: and the staff member responded - 18 months due to Star Wars.
How a space attraction can impact the train surprised me

So for 18 months you can see some train displays at the Great Moments of Mr. Lincoln and also see the train at each station and take photos.

I usually rate the train Superb. Without being able to ride it to get around the park, its now just average. It does not go anywhere for 18 months (or more),
