Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the original Disneyland rides this attraction still offers a fun journey thru Mr. Toad's England. Youngsters get a few thrills (a train heads towards you) . Our 8 year old grandson remembered the ride from when he was three and insisted we ride it this visit.
Jaunting car takes two of you on a level ride with no significant jolts or shakes. Usuallly not a long line to ride and it offers a cool area on a warm day.

Stopped here out of nostalgia and my sister asking for video of the ride to relive her being wigged out on the ride as a kid. Everything in Fantasyland is either for little kids or for big kids/adults not ashamed to revisit their memories. Good ride with some excitement compared to some of the other old school rides. Also, as others have mentioned, this one has shorter lines.

This is actually my family's favorite ride in Fantasyland. Our teenagers grew up hearing the stories of Mr.Toad as little kids, so this ride is dear to us. He could use some driving lessons as he attempts to take you through his ride. I am happy to say, we have all made it out unscathed every time we ride with Mr.Toad. Toddlers to elderly all love this classic dark ride!

This is one of the older rides in the park, but still enjoyable to try--if only to get a feel for the park when it first opened. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This is one of the original rides at Disney. A classic but not very exciting as an adult. Might entertain the kids a bit but only went on because it's a classic.

A darkly amusing acid trip of a ride where you drive like a maniac through the London streets, get arrested for it, get sent to jail before breaking out, finding yourself headed towards an oncoming train, and going to Hell when it plows you down. I'm amazed that it's still around considering it was here when Disneyland first opened in 1955, so it's very old and it's based off a film from 1949 called Ichabod and Mr. Toad (two cartoon adaptations of Wind in the Willows and Sleepy Hollow put together) which not as many kids know about today and is way before my time as well. There's a lot of fun imagery throughout, especially in the last scene which takes place in Hell (not in The Wind in the Willows book or even the Disney cartoon for that matter). I remember that room being very warm when I rode it as a little kid, but it wasn't that hot this time. Either it's not as bad as I remember it or the heater wasn't turned on but they don't call this a wild ride for nothing.

Great ORIGINAL ride. Absolutely no modern special effects but still a treat.
I do hope that Disney DO NOT spoil this ride in any future upgrades to the Park, but leave it unchanged so that parents will always be able to tell their children that this was exactly the same ride THEY went on when THEY were kids!
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Since Mr Toad is no longer at WDW we decided my granddaughter should see what used to be there. It's an okay ride + I like to be able to experience some of those original rides

There is a massive refurb coming to Fantasyland. That means lots of new tech, (Walt was all about constant 'plussing' of his Park) and the addition of new tech may mean the end of Mr Toads Wild Ride.
Do you homework about this ride, and this place. Walt Disneys favorite place in the Park was Fantasyland. He loved the dark rides and the Castle. Mr Toads has lagged behind and with the massive jump in technology and imagineering from Shanghai, this place will need to go. Enjoy this amazing place.

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is a quick fun ride that jolts riders into the world of a older Disney Classic Film.
