Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Your Canoe captains are hilarious! With an ever-changing rotation of crew members, you are guaranteed to never have the same experience twice on these paddle boats. Your captains take you for about a 15-minute excursion around the island, giving you unique history and facts along the way. This is now a staple attraction for our family!. I just wish we had started doing this ride years ago!

This activity is not unique to the Disneyland park, but is often overlooked. The lines don't really get long, because each canoe can fit a large number of people. It is one of the best activities that our whole family can do and yes, you do paddle through the water while getting a fun little tour. Lifejackets are provided, but the water is not that deep. It's a fun safe activity that we hope to continue.

The Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoe is a real free-floating canoe, no motor and no track, that holds about 15 guest who actually paddle the canoe around the Rivers of America. There is one cast member who steers the canoe, but it's the guest that do all the work. Worth doing once.

We have had so much fun on the canoes Its fun to see if one can get a group of people who have just met rowing together. Sometimes they do races with the other canoes.

Right now as they build the new land, the canoes are on a hiatus.

Travel back to a time when water was the fastest mode of transportation. Board a canoe with some experience explorers and take a trip around the river with a Native American village, beavers, moose, skunks, mountain lions and a return to civilization.
