Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We did this ride for nostalgia purposes, even though my youngest was the only one that actually was excited for it (7 years old). One advantage is that you can get a good view of the parade going by if you happen to time it right. Otherwise, it is just like fair rides but in a Disney setting. I must be getting old and crotchety, because I probably looked forward to this as a kid long ago.

My son wanted to ride the Astro Orbitor so we hopped in line and did it. It is basically the same as the Dumbo ride as you are able to control the space ship up and down. The line took longer than we anticipated. It is at the front of Tomorrowland so it gets a lot of traffic. Unless you are on a mission to do every ride I would skip this one in favor of more authentic Disney rides.

The wait seems long for this ride, but once on it, i find it fun to be in the astro orbiters. Its like piloting one's own space ship.

Its in the Tomorrowland Section of Disneyland.

The ride goes round and round at different elevations.

Not sure when it will be back up but Astro Orbitor is closed right now and completely disassembled. When it is not closed, this ride feels very much like the Dumbo ride so it is a good option to just head over to Fantasyland and try out that one.

This was the first ride we hit during our visit. We went on it while waiting for our Star Tours FastPass, which is right across from it. Each rocket has a control so the person in front can make it go up or down. May cause squabbles if you have 2 or more kids and they all want to drive!

My wife and I enjoyed this ride. It rotates at a moderate speed but gets up to a pretty decent height. The lines move pretty fast in this line.

This ride is meant for kids or very small petite persons. Spent the ride trying not to squish my wife and we still ended with numb legs and arms as we didnt fit good.

This is like the Dumbo ride but you are in rockets! If you don't want to wait up to 40 minutes for this ride, go early in the morning when the park opens or even better during the Early Morning Hour if you got the multi-day tickets. Then you won't have to wait in line at all. When we rode this right before the general public was allowed into the park, we could see the crowd waiting right outside Tomorrowland. Fun ride!

Maneuver a sleek spaceship into the farthest reaches of the universe and back. Sit in a colorful 3 passenger spaceship, launch, hold on tight as your rocket levitates and begins a series of rapid revolutions around a galaxy of planets.
