They have filled in the marina and let nature reclaim the slough. Wildlife have returned and if your lucky you'll see strippers coming in to chase the chad when they run. Walk way out on the jetty and slat grass will make you disappear.
Peaceful except for odd train or plane. Landscape very apocalyptic, desolate, not much green no trees.

It was late afternoon and we stopped to check out Alviso Marina County Park. It was a pleasant stroll with the sun almost setting and a gentle breeze blowing. It was the perfect place to photograph wildflowers and watch the birds overhead.
