I'm an alumni of Soka university of america. The acoustics of this PAC was designed by the same designer responsible for the Disney concert hall. During my time as a student, we've held Ted x events, seen performances from prestigious performers like Yoyo Ma, Herbie Hancock, and many more. I was personally involved in the Peiking Acrobats show and had... More

If you get a chance to tour this campus you won't be sorry. Its amazing and tranquil and just gorgeous. They have a performance arts center that features local talent, go early and walk around the campus.

Soka University and its classy Performing Arts Center are nestled in an alluring and panoramic hill in Aliso Viejo. The view is stunning from there. We make an effort to arrive much earlier than the time for the concert or performance so we may enjoy the surroundings. Whether is chamber music concerts, ballet, a piano concert or a world music... This is a great venue for traditional and vocal music because of the superb acoustics. I was lucky enough to catch the Handel and Haydn Society concert and you could hear every beautiful note. We went to the all-you-can eat dinner at the Soka Bistro before ($11.25, open 5:30 - 7 pm)...and the parking is free!

I've attended concerts and lectures at the Soka Performing Arts Center. While it's off the beaten trail, it is a lovely venue with ample parking.

Located on the serenely beautiful campus of Soka University, this hidden gem is designed by the same architect that designed the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Superb acoustics and an up close and personal feel to the theater. Attended Storm Large concert at this venue and worth the 1.5 hour drive! Very knowledgeable staff available to assist with information.

Went there recently for a symphony concert. SOKA is part of a cult and the campus has a weird vibe. Seats are great and very close to the stage, which is nice. Sound is over-powering for my taste. Bring earplugs. Had to check in and out of the campus with guards. The place is surrounded by walls.

This is a world class concert hall with top performers and known for it's wonderful acoustics and the best pianos in southern California. If you get a chance, you should attend a concert. The staff are all very knowledgeable and helpful.

We went to see the Hawaiian dancers and food festival. There isn't a bad seat in the house. the performances are well done, sound is great. The area is clean, restrooms are also clean, well kept. Beautiful area.
